Gabri Veiga - In-Depth Scouting Report of Young Spanish Dynamo
Includes comparison with other Liverpool targets
After pulling out of the race to sign Jude Bellingham due to the insane transfer cost involved, it is important for Liverpool to have an excellent summer window to restore some of the trust lost.
Among the plethora of other midfielders linked with the Reds, Gabri Veiga of Celta Vigo has been on that list for some time now. The 20-year-old has been with the Celta youth side since 2018 and made his senior debut for them during the 2020/21 season. He has only started playing regular minutes from the start of this season though.
The Spanish U-21 international is a versatile midfield player who is comfortable playing as a number 10, as a right-sided number eight in a three-man midfield or as a central midfielder in a double-pivot.
Without further ado, let’s take an in-depth look at the player to know more about him and his playing style. We will compare his numbers with other potential Liverpool targets who operate in similar positions as him.
